These days the "Award Wapasi" virus is picking up speed.More & more people are returning the Awards,why this sudden surge? is it a manufactured drama? Though many have returned the award  YET no own seems to have returned the financial component. & other benefits enjoyed by them. These award winners overnight have become very sensitive to the social issues. Where was their conscience, when Sanjay Ganndhi sterlised more than 6.12 million  innocent people of this country?, 15 times more  than Adolph Hitler . Why were they moved to tears when Kalburgi, Phansare & Dhabolkar were killed ? Is it a gorilla war ?:have they sold their consciousness ?These people have un-clean hands : In 1984 more than 2733 Sikhs were butchered , I lost many Sikh friends,what were the award winners  doing ? were they sleeping ? NO they enjoyed the patronage of the then  UPA Govt in power,they knew which side of the bread is buttered. What were the so called  scientists  doing when dozens  of nuclear scientists mysteriously died /dis appeared? What were they doing during OROP agitation ? What were they doing when hundreds of Pundits were killed in Kashmir ?The Govt should take back/cancel all the awards given during UPA govt And ask the awardees to return all the cash & other benefits received by them. we all know the name of a   scientist who accepted the directorship of a top class research institution, within 6 months of lifting of emergency. Now suddenly the conscience of these Awrdees is pricked by Killing of some un wanted Rationalists,who abused Hindu gods & goddesses. Now there is one KS Bhagawan who hates Hindu scriptures & calls for burning of Bhagvat Geetha,which is universally respected.

Bhuttos outburst in UN

When India walked out from the Security council.almost 50 years ago. Mr.Zulfikar Ali Bhutto said " the Indian DOGS have run away from the security council chamber but not from Jammu & Kashmir" The same man fooled the Indian PM & took away 90,000 & odd POW on empty promises & today the PM is ready & standing by to provide the "necessary assistance"to Pakisthan. The disaster management task force is kept stand by,to rush Aid to AFPAK. region. Beef eating countries are willing to receive AID from a Hindu country. We all know what happened after the earth quake in Nepal. The PM rushed Aid,to this country,even without the Country asking for it. We received a nice slap on our cheeks.China is rushing Petrol/Diesel to Nepal only when the country asked for it. The PM wants to score BROWNIE points, even at the cost of Indian Earth Quake  victims/sufferers. It is high time the BJP & RSS should stop him from saving the people of AFPAK region,if you save them today, the same saved people will attack J&K  tomorrow: The Indian Govt  & Indians should realise that as long as Pakisthan exists, on the globe  it will never forget the Indian involvement in creation of Bangladesh. A short sighted policy of Mrs Gandhi. India has completely failed in its foreign policy.We are creating more enemies than friends in this world.& working against the best interests of the country. Now the Indian African summit is another stunt to squander country's scarce resources. When America offered a seat in the Security council, Nehru declined it & suggested the name of China. To Day we r begging for a seat in UN- security council & we r not getting it. The Indo -African summit is a futile exercise to build up support for UN reforms & canvas for a seat in security council

Animal killing for food

Killing animals for eating(food)is not very far away from killing human beings for food. They differ only in body,shape & colour. but remember it is the same life that you are destroying. The earth is perfectly capable of giving us the requisite food. With new technology one can make it as tasteful as one wants. Killing life forms for taste is disgusting. One cannot become a Buddha,  or a Theerthankara or have purity of consciousness : The Buddha had told his Bikshus ,accept whatever given to you in Bhiksha,don't reject it. Rejection is an insult to the  alms giver : If you start choosing then you will accept only the good & reject the bad. He wanted his disciples to eat whatever they get,good or bad,He exhorted them not to throw the bad(or anything) One day a flying bird dropped a piece of meat into the begging bowl of a bikshu,he was in doubt as to what to do, eat it or throw it? As per Buddhas orders,if he throws it away, then he would make it an exception,  slowly slowly exceptions become a rule. If he eats it then he would be eating meat & become a Non-Veg. H e is not allowed to throw it. He ate it. Many of his followers thought that it is permissible to eat meat. They became non-veg from veg. In China,Japan ,Korea & Tibet, Buddhists became non-vegetarian, the whole of Asia except parts of India became non-veg. It appears even Buddha was a non-veg. Dalai lama is a non-veg, he demanded beef,when he was on a visit to America(,much to the surprise of Americans,who thought he must be a Veg)

collegium VS NJAC

The attorney general exposed the drawbacks of collegium system,led the court to accept the flaws of the system.The sc invited the remedial suggestions. This system was in vogue since 1994. The MN Vekatachalaiah committee set up by NDA,in the year 2000 : The 121 amendment moved by NpA Got approval in Rajya sabha,but,could not be moved in Lokh sabha,before its term expired. The NDA brought in the 99th amendment bill & got it passed. in dec.2014 it became law.
The validity of the law was challenged in SC on the ground that it undermined the establishment & sustainability Of an "independent Judiciary" The 5 member bench of SC by a majority of 4:1 held the Act un constitutional & stuck it down, The NJAC was to have 6 members viz the cji & 2 eminent members of SC, the union law minister,7 two eminent persons.
NEGATIVE VOTE by any TWO members could ensure the defeat of any proposal. The judicial members had no primacy,it was decidedly in favour of the political masters.The parliament is free to change the system as long it ensures the freedom of the judiciary
The court accepted the flaws in the Collegium system & invited the "Suggestions" The addition of two or more persons will go a long way in Transparency,
The collegium had no mechanism to collect info to select the best candidate.Constant up dating of data base is a must. A new body may have to be crated to do this job,continuously . it must be controlled by the CJI.

99th constitutional Amendament::NJAC OUT

The SC has declared NJAC void & un-constitutional : TheSC has upheld the values of constitutionalism & independence of judiciary : A basic structure : it has called it a collective order.As per  Ambedkar's constitution The judiciary is supposed to be Completely independent from extraneous influence like Executive & Legislature.The court has carefully examined the Article 124A(1) The membership of the NJAC was as follows:-Besides CJI,two senior judges(Ex-officio members,)The union Law minister, & two eminent persons: Who are this eminent person has not been defined,should they be SC,ST,Muslim other BC ?? The court fears the three non judicial members may undermine the independence of the judiciary.It feels article 124A, clause a & b are insufficient to preserve & uphold the independence/primacy of the judiciary:The SC does not like the Law minister's presence under clause (C) of 124A(1) It thinks  his  Drect involved in the deliberations of the judges appointment.is not healthy .The presence of Law minister in the NJAC impinges on the independence of judiciary & also affects the theory of separation of powers. The presence of CJI in a selection committee along with the PM & the opposition party leader to select an Eminent leader is sure to embaras the CJI, because the Govt can negotiate different positions & appointments  that will best reflect their own interests. It is in effect means packing the court.. The principle of give & Take,that is normally seen is most un-suitable & may put THE CJI in an awkward position : The collegium  system had lot of drawbacks.It lacked transperency. No body outside the system knows what is the procedure adopted to choose the judges. This has opened a window for SC to be self critical & more transparency in the appointment of Judges: In the past no body outside the collegium knew, why some one was appointed & the other/others were rejected as a judge. The system of reverting back to Collegium to suit the whims & fancies of the members casts shadow on the integrity of the judges. The credibility of the judiciary is at stake. Unless we know why a judge was appointed & the others were rejected,without assigning reasons. is no show. By just declaring the NJAC as void,does it automatically mean going back to the collegium system? Is reforming the collegium system in process?How will it restore faith in the legal system of this country; let us wait for Nov/03 to learn more about the decision on improving the Collegium

Judges will select judges in India.

The Supreme court in India has spoken loudly. It has declared the the national judicial commission as un-constitutional & has reinstated the Collegium system . India that is Bharat is the only country in this world to opt for this system . The supremacy of parliament, an elected body has been sidelined,the politicians have no say in the appointment of judges.The unanimous decision of parliament & acceptance by 28 states have been deleted. Prior to 1993, the judges were appointed by the Govt & eminent judges held the chief justice post & delivered famous judgments, In 1976 Hasraj Khanna was superseded.
Law making should be in the domain of Parliament ,the SC should not become a Third chamber : The Colligium system is flawed,lacks transparency.The case of Gopal Subramanium is relevant.In 1993 the rule was changed, did it mean we did not have an Independent Judiciary for 46 years?? Courts cannot legislate,it is not their business, as per the constitution ,drafted by BM Ambedkar:
The govt is the biggest litigant in this country & as such is an interested party ! we all know how CJ Sadasivan was appointed as governor of Kerala by the Govt.Who is an eminent person? SC, ST. OBC ??? What is the current thinking of the Govt ? will the Govt accept defeat ? or will it fight back ? establish the sovereignty of the people,represented by Parliament ?We have to wait & watch !

The Capital ; New-Delhi.

In the 1911 Imperial  Durbar,The capital was shifted from Calcutta(Kolkata) to Delhi. King George V made this announcement. Edwin Lutyen was selected as the architect & Sir Sobha Singh was the authorised contractor.Both did a fine job,in Delhi rose the Capital of the mightiest empire of the sub continent. The India gate was constructed as a memorial for the Indian soldiers,who were killed in the Third Afgan War & the First world War.The Jaipur pillar with a six pointed star,is a masterpiece. It was paid by the Maharaja of Jaipur. that is why it is called by that name.The India gate roundabout,there was a white canopy in which sat the King George V on a grand throne.
I visited New Delhi in the year 1956 & was really impressed..There was Kingsway(Now called Rajpath) & Queen's way(Now called Janpath) running at right angles.The Janpath,led to Cannaught Place(HRH Duke Cannaught represented the King ( Edward VII) in 1903 & attended the Imperial Durbar.Many officer's messes were around the India Gate.Earlier The Air Force Officre's mess(Central vista mess) was just opposite to National Archieves.The King's statue was removed & there was a proposal to install Mahthma's statue under the canopy,but there was stiff opposition,due to the fact  that the India Gate, a memorial for Merceneries was not the suitable place Now Mahatma Gandhi is there ,right in front of Parliament. Many roads were renamed. we have  Road names like Rajendra Prasad,Rajagopalaachari,Zaki r Hussain,Radhakrishnan Etc. Gandhi exhorted Indians to Join the Army, during  the First world war & defend the British Empire. In fact he even raised an Ambulance Unit of Stretcher bearers to serve in France. I was told Mohamed Ali Jinnha lived at 10, Auregzeb Road in a private mansion. Though lot of new buildings have come up,by & large,the ambience of Lutyens Delhi is preserved,

Jumbo Savari postponed to October 23.

Sri Abhinava vagesha Brahmatntra Swatantra Parakala Mutt Seer & the chief priest of Sri Chamundeswari Temple Sri Shashishekar  have upheld the Sampradaya of Mysore Royal Palace to hold the said procession on 23rd/10 instead of 22/10. Maharani Promoda devi objected to the day fixed by the GOK to hold Jamboo Savari on october,22 ,because it clashed with the Ayudha pooja ceremony of the Palace. The Vijaya dashami ceremonywould begin in the morning & Conclude only in the evening at 07:00 PM on 22/10. Earlier in 1976 &2005 ,when both Ayudha Pooja & Vijaya Dashami fell on the same day, the procession(Jamboo Savari) the star attraction of the Navaratri pooja was post poned to the Next day. The Vijaya Yatra is the celebration of Victory of rifgtousness over Evil. This celebration has a history of more than 405 years & the royal family of Mysore(Considered to be the successor to Krishnadevaraya of Vijayanagar)has been observing the ritual. Though the royal  custos & tradation has ceased to exist in India after 1947,yet the state of Karnataka(Old Mysore State) continue this festival to attract the tourists.

Shortage of Sand, an important component of building construction,has rendered more than 30,000 workers,Jobless.Sand from Thungabhadra is considered  the best for building construction.The new Sand policy of GOK has made the shortage acute.It has resulted in illegal sand mining & transportation to Bangaluru(mostly  during nights ) The Sand Mafia is responsible for High Price of good quality sand. The Distt environmental Dept. has permitted 48 blocks.out of 58 blocks,for sand mining. B'coz of paucity of sand, construction workers have been rendered jobless. Distt. Building construction workers association,who were protesting,now have withdrawn their protest,as the administration has promised them sand from Oct/12, onwards For the time being illegal transportation to Bangaluru has stopped,because of dharna at Davanagere

Re-Generation of Bamboo Trees in Hassan & Chikkamagalur.

In Hassan & Chikkamagalur,Bamboo Trees had dis appeared,NOW Bamboo shoots are getting re-generated.(After a LONG gap o many years) It Is a good sign for Wild life.King Cobras,normaly build their nests using Bamboo leaves.These trees last about 30 to 35 years & wither away after flowering.Grazing animals like wild boars etc depend on it for food.If the forest dept. or some philanthrophist organisation/NGO plants fruit bearing trees,it will be beneficial to the residents.

Heavy showers in Bangaluru

Heavy downpour for hours,with gusty winds changed the Sunday mood of the Bangalurians. Water entered the low lying areas. BBMP control room received complaints from Fathima Layout.Amar Jyothi Layout,Dodda Banaswadi ,Horamavu & Journalist colony. Sarai Palya,laggere.Mudalapalya,Chamarajpet & T Dasarahalli were also equally affected. Many Trees were up rooted.Power supply was badly affected. 2.5 mm of rainfall is not much to disturb the citizens,but the in efficiency of BBMP. staff. Most of the storm water drains are blocked.Roads were overflowing with streams of water. One could see people taking shelter under Metro ,lines/underpasses,Trees & Buildings. Those staying in Multi storied projects were the happiest lot. Water logging was reported from most of the localities like Koramangala,Ejipura,IndiraNagar,new Tippasandra,old Madras road,Brigade road,KG Road & Malleswaram.Rain Water from Defence Land was overflowing the adjacent I.Ring Road & Ejhipura Etc. What is the solution for this ? 2/5 th of the land in Bangalore belongs to the Defence & the civil authorities have no control  over it. The GOK. should take over this surplus land(Mostly in Prime localities)by Nationalising it,or by forceful occupation(Like they did in Muni Reddy Palya during ,CM.Hanumanthaiah's time) The BBMP should be Trifurcated for better Governance. The Local Govt should ask many Defense establishments to shift to other Disricts of the state if not to other States. They are a heavy drain on the slender resources of the BBMP. Be it Power,Water or Transportation. The recent report about the Air Show being shifted to GOA was welcomed by one & all. The DM & GOI. must make an announcement in this regard immediately.
During the last water crisis in 1986,many of the Air Force Training Units were shifted to Tamilnadu & other places.

PM Modi's travel abroad.

The PM has travelled about 29 times since he was elected., next four months another Eight trips are planned. During his coronation he invited all the SAARC & regional leaders to witness the grand event,He declared neighbourhood policy.The Indian Govt grouse is that the Nepalese constitution did not declare itself a Hindu Rastra.. Srilamka & Maldives,now the Nepal has drifted into Chinese sphere of influence.China has displaced Japan as the major Donor to Sri Lanka.After the Nato forces left Afganistan,The elected leaders are leaning towards China & Pakhistan. China is going slow on border negotiations with India. He wanted Nawaz shereef to attend his coronation, three months later he cancelled the Foreign secretary level talks. Whatever good job that had been  done by UPA during last Ten years was reduced to naught by Modi govt .Mr Obama gave a state banquet to the Chinaman & a working meal to the Indian PM. It appears India is going to become a Junior Partner ,or even a client state of USA What about the permanent seat in SC ? The Major Veto power countries, US,China & Russia have not expressed their opinion & there is no text before the UNGA. The question before UN GA is whom to leave out? & whom to take in? G-4 ganging up may not be a very good idea. In short The PM Modi's diplomacy did not meet the requisite goal. Ultimately Modi may royally withdraw from seeking membership of UNSC & gracefully support Germany & Brazil.,  like Nehru did in favour of China

Intolerance on the rise.

One man has been lynched in Dadri for eating his normal food rich in vitamins,because others did not like it.Cow slaughter has been banned in India (Officially) but beef is available throughout the country. Our country is of diverse religion,where one section eats Beef. In ancient times even Brahmins used to eat Beef.Just because they have stopped eating beef,it does not mean others should not  do it.. India is a major exporter of Beef & UP share is more than 50% of it.!20 years back cow slaughter was banned in J&K,but it was never enforced. Now courts have stepped in & the police are enforcing it.The truth is it is easy to BAN but very difficult to enforce. As UP chief minister has said ,let the centre impose ban on export of Beef to other countries.The victims son is a corporal in IAF & he wants to shift his family to Chennai,because Beef is available,plenty in Chennai. First the service chiefs should Ban Beef eating in Sevices, by service personnel whether in their houses or in in hotels///

President Barrack Obama & President Putin,spoke on the wretched situation in Syria..They wanted broader c0-operation to combat ISIS. They wanted this to include Iranians, Russians & forces loyal to Bhashar al assad. Russia is pouring Heavy Military eqpt in Syria to counter the ISIS threat. The Syrian forces have created havoc more than the ISIS.US is training and arming the  moderate Rebels..Us has cast veto more number of times to protect Israel.We all have seen the disastrous consequences in Libiya. The idea was to protect the civilians.The veto power has always hindered the effectiveness of UNSC.It was necessary 70 years back due to geo politics of that era.To day the situation has changed, Britain & France, no more deserve that veto,as India & Germany have grown in status.The non representation of Africa & Latin America at the top table is a travesty.The security council is required to be made more representative.
Looking back over 70 years one can say,UN has served a useful purpose,in some cases ,outstanding job. Of course in many spheres it has failed,bcoz it is dependent on donations from member states.Its top heavy administration consumes most of the money. India contributes more than Britain & France. India is liberally sending its forces to trouble spots for peace keeping. As someone rightly remarked that UN was created not to lead mankind to heaven but to save humanity from  Hell. The korean & Vietnam wars were really hellish. The score card in Rawanda,Srebrenica,iraq & Syria is is totally blank/dismal..

Bhagat Singh's Birth Day; 28th sept:Forgotten by all.

The legendary Bhagat Singh the revolutionary has been forgotten in India. He was 23 years old when he was hanged by Britishers.He was a self declared Atheist. A Sikh who cut his hair,he denounced superstition. Why is the BJP govt hesitating to award him with Bharat Ratna ?If ay one deserves Bharat Rathna,it is He He He. Un fortunately his birth day was forgotten during the Ganesha Pooja Festivities.///

Are Money lenders responsible for farmers death????

No it is factually in correct.Out of 461 farmers who committed suicide only 61 had taken money from private moneylenders.The state govt had boasted that it has cracked down on money lenders & had arrested 600of them. The internal inquiry has revealed that only 132 had taken loan from PS Banks,92 from regional rural banks,only 20 borrowed from Co-op banks: 76 farmers who had committed suicide had borrowed from co-op associations: 61 farmers who had committed suicide had not taken any loan   from any source. The Govt has agreed to give compensation in 121 cases only; 248 cases are being examined : It was the sugarcane farmers who were stressed lot 61 of them committed suicide; The govt has rejected the claims of 93 farmers./// Those who committed suicide are:-
61 cases are sugarcane growers
43 cotton growers
32 paddy growers. The sugar Bowl, Bagalkote,Belagavi & vijayapura account for 47 suicide cases.Mandya alone witnessed 47 Deaths. Haveri 37 deaths. Tumakuru with 33 deaths.
The Govt is thinking of waiving interest charges on Farm Loans taken from C0-ops. Loans taken from PS Banks comes under Central Govt.The ad campaign have not stopped the suicide cases.As on date 475 farmers have committed suicide during the last 3 months alone. The Govt may consider long & medium term loans taken from co-op into consideration & it may waive interest rates on them.also.
Though the Govt is not sure about the Burden on the exchequer yet it is likely to cost anywhere between 200-300 crores

India launches SIX new satellites: Low cost PSLV

India has launched 6 satellites from Satish Chandra Space Centre. The fully trusted PSLV, low cost vehicles wes used,In a maiden attempt ASTROSAT was launched that includes a X RAY telescope(Mini Hubble) This the PM says is a grand accomplishment of Indian Science & its scientists,ISRO chairman,AS Kiran kumar says an astronomy mission has been placed in space. It is estimated that 7 million dollars have been spent on this project. The foreign satellites have been launched under an agreement between Antrix & Sanfrancisco company, the lift off mass is said to be 1513 kg . PSLV-30  first placed the ASTROSAT in a 650 km orbit and later,placed the other 6 satellites in a time space of 3 Mts. Farmers are dyeing  b'coz of drought and concequent indebtedness due to crop failure, almost ever day we hear of three to four suicides  & the country is squandering money on un-wanted activities to keep the scientists happy.
Why cant ISRO design Spying satellites and place it above Pakisthan  & China(in geo synchronous orbit) design next generation Drones & do cloud seeding Etc.The PM is happy in saying the nation has joined a league of elite nations that have a space lab in the sky. India is one of the most backward countries in the world & its people have neither food nor water to drink.The PM.who was crying on TV,yesterday thinking about his mothers & her poverty.has forgotten, that thousands are placed in a similar situation,& he should do something to better their lot. What the observatory is going to show us, we can get that info,free of cost,just for asking. There is no point in spending a fortune to find out "why apple falls to the ground"Manufacturing weapon systems,to suit the Indian conditions,arming the Defense services & paying the Soldiers,should be first consideration. Take back the POK & Illegally occupied Indian territory by the Chinece should be our prime concern. Create employment to our un-employed. Space can wait.look after our people on the ground (The haplss indians)

The present system,first past the post has miserably failed the Indian people. We should have a parliament or Legislature that truly represents the Majority of people,BJP's 31 % is the lowest share of any party to win a majority & form a Govt, in the 16th lokha sabha.No Party has ever before won more than half of the seats,with a vote share of 31 %. In 1967 congress won 283 out of 520 seats with 40 % of votes. The 2014 elections BJP won 282 seats with just 31 % of votes. Congress won 44 seats with only 19,3 % of votes, The sum of two parties added only just over 50 %. It simply means over 50 % of the voters voted for some other party.The NDA's combined vote  was 38.5 %.The lowest in any ruling coalition.

The NDA did not need any outside support to form the Govt.( The UPA-1,got 47 %) What is the solution??, The RUN OFF SYSTEM. In this scheme the parliament truely represents the Majority. It is a TWO rounds system. Means the elected rep has more than 50 % of votes. 

Many countries like, Indonesia,Poland, Portugal ,France have this system(Run of System) and are working successfully.

Haj Tragedy at Mina

 At Mina,The pilgrims throw stones at the Devil. Id Ul Adha is an important Islamic festival..Pilgrims have to go there(about 5 Kms from Mecca)& throw 3 stones at the stone walls.It appears more than 750 people were killed & 800 injured in the stampede. As it stands more than 14  Indians have have died.& the info is still trickling.The indesciplined crowds are largely to blame for themselves
Infrastructure has been greatly enhanced to accommodate greater number of International pilgrims.The Saudi's lack crowd management skills.Sometimes back,a crane crashed & more than 100 people died at the grand mosque & it was called an act of God,I am sure even this disaster will be called by the same name.Increasing Incomes,Low Airfare & Govt subsidy have made more people travel to Mecca,Haj Pilgrimage FIVE pillars of Islam
Saudi monarchy is the custodian of the Holy Mosque ,he has a special standing in the eyes outhy rebels were Bombed by the King(Salman) in Yemen. Republicanism, federalism ,secularism .& inclusiveness.are the Hall Mark of this new document.This basically is a constitution for the Kathmandu valley & the hilly region.It is heavily loaded against the Plains people.(the Terai area adjacent to the Indian republic) The Tarus & the Janjhattis(The indigenous people) & they have hit the streets. The Madhesis are up in arms.They are opposing the federal structure of the constitution.
As per the present set up,children of a Nepalese woman with a foreigner cannot enjoy citizenship,unless her husband accepts Nepalese citizenship; This provision goes against the Terai people,who marry across the border.Nepal is wedged in between India & China Terai people constitute more than 50% of the population(Approximately,23 million) The Left leaning parties look up to China,they think the Terai people are part of Indian people.& should be marginalised. Three of the Terai  easteren dists have been merged with the Hill region.Three western Distts are merged with the western hill region.The constitution permits only 45% of total members of parliament to be elected by proportional representation ( It was 58 % under the interim constitution) The aspirations of the Marginalised people have been bulldozed by prevailing Majoritarian tendencies. The Terai people who border India have strong Social.Cultural & Ethnic relations with India.
The present CA will remain as it is & only the PM,Speaker & President will step down.The CA will convert itself into the Parliament : If violence continues & Terai burns,there will be massive inflow of Migrants. The border is Porus & un-restricted. Nepal is going to be become another Sri-Lanka,if India does not act immediately & contain the violence.

Yettinahole diversion is ecologically dangerous/disastrous.The National Green tribunal should step in & stop this project..The 14 feet tall pipelines are lying in Hassan Dist.1300 crores have been spent on it There seems to be a scam, CBI should probe this illegal contract. There is not more than 10tmc water in Yettinahole(& its tributeries) If the water falls below the expected level,the Govt may draw water from Netravathy & Kumaradhara also,in the future. The original idea was to divert Netravathi river,as the Karavali people protested vehemently,the Govt changed its plans to draw water from Yettinahole,recently there was a report that Krishna & Godawary has been linked to help the farmers. Water from our rivers Kaveri & Kapila & its tributaries are being used to benefit the Tamil Nadu. Stop this water & divert it to Kolar & chikkaballapurdistt. The CM Siddaramaiah does not have guts to tell Jayalalitha NO-MORE WATER.  In no way we rare benifitted from joining the Union of India . Go back to pre - 1947 position. Abrogate the 1924 pact, Re-negotiate the right of the Reparian states claims.

Terrorists among refugees to EU

Youngmen un-accompanied by their family are a potential group to be attracted to Islamic fundamentalism. The Islamists in Germany may in the pretext of offering humanitarian help could try to attract & convert  the migrants to Islamic fundamentalism.They may be ideologically trained & sent to Syria as fighters.The number of Super-conservative Salafist Muslims in Germany alone has risen to 7900, one fifth of them are women.

The EU has approved  to distribute/share 1,20,000 refugees across its 28 states,though opposed by the 4 ex-communist states. Slovakia,Romania & Hungary opposed the scheme.Finland abstained. Prague had warned earlier that such a scheme is un-workable.This quota system may not work.

Crotia has appealed to Serbia for help. It wants Migrants to be directed to Hungary. Hungery has sealed the borders with Sebia,to stem the  massive flow of migrants/refugees fleeing WAR & POVERTY in the countries of ME & Africa.Crotia is transporting them by Bus & Train o Hungary but it can only cope up with a few thousand.

Maharaja's outpost in Shahidullah @ Aksaichin.

Maharaja Ranbir singh's ambition of annexation(Cartographic) of AksaiChin to J&K kingdom l has led to the bad bad blood between India & China..On 16/03/1846,the British ceded to Gulab Singh (for his treachery) the land acquired by them , Viz.Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh for the sum of Rs 75 Lakhs.The treaty of Amritsar (Article-4) clearly stated that  The limits of the territory of the Maharaja will not be changed at any time.The Maharaja did change the territory and left India & China to fight each other
The Aksaichin ,covers an area of 14380 sq miles.It is an high altitude area,the lowest point is the Karakash river at about 14000 ft.The highest point is 22500 feet.Here lies the Line of Actual control. A place where not a blade of grass grows. Mahavir Tyagi riposted that the PM's head  did not have a single hair,that did not make it useless..
The advanced boundary line of WH johnson(1865) merrits our attention .Especially since thereafter,this boundary line on the Aksaichin plateau,is based on this Map.It found a concrete shape in Survey of India Map(1868) This made Johnson opt for Kuen-lun watershed as the dividing line.Johnson joined the Maharajas services & he showed that the entire Aksaichin plateau9in Ladakh)belonged to the Raja
Viceroy Lansdown in a minute in 28/09/1889 said the land between the Karakoram & kuen-lun ranges is of no value,in accessible & not likely to be coveted by Russia & we should encourage the Chinese to take possession,rather than leaving it as no-mans land.He favoured the Chinese to hold the Kashgar-Yarkand region as it can act as an obstacle to Russian advancement & also for better relationship with Chinese.
Francis Younghusband wanted the British to claim this land. up to the crests of the Kuen-lun range,before Whotehall could take a decision,the Chinese occupied it(Shahudullaha)
Lord Curzon was also in favourof leaving this land in the hands of Chinese. He wanted this land to be held by a friendly power(Chinese). In 1893,Hung Ta Chen drew up another map & handed it over to George Maccartney at Jashgar This boundary placed Lingzhi Thong plains ,south of Laktsang range in India & Aksaichin,to the north in Hina.
A border along the Karakhoram mountains was suggested by the British. Because it formed a Natural Boundary,extend British borders up to the Indus river watershed,leaving the Tarim river watershed under the control of Chinese.& this will act as deterant to the Russians from central Asia. This line was called the Maccrteney- Macdonald Line to Chinese.  In 1899. The Chinese did not respond to it & the British thought the Chinese had accepted it in toto. The Chinese found favour with this as it corresponded to their line of thinking,
In 1941,India got reports that the Soviets had amassed troops  in Xingiang. The boundary was  pushed outwards up to Ardagh-Johnson line. The Indian constitution just showed an Airbrushed Blank without a line through it : In 1962 The Chinese Army advanced up to Maccarteney-Macdonald Line. The present dispute is due to overlapping perceptions of where the LAC stands.

America looks to Muslim(shia) Iran & Communist Russia to find a way out for Bashar al assad of syria.
The Develeped countries of the west and the Shia govt of Iran & the communist Govt of Russia should start negotiations on Bashar's exist. The Russian involvement should be welcomed in controlling the ISIS.The critical Refugee situation can be stemmed only when there is a political settlement. This can happen only when Bashar steps down. India should take a lead in this matter & offer help & assistance.of course Pakiasthan is a key player. Is Assad ready to negotiate? that is a million dollar question.
The Russian build up at Syria(latakia) has raised the possibility of Air-Combat missions. The heavy Russian military build up, including Tanks,helicopters,naval infantry forces is a significant step in the right direction.. The people of Syria have already spoken up with their feet. They are leaving Syria in thousands seeking warmth,food & shelter to the land of infidels.

A western take over of Syria & Iraq is the only solution to the Middle astern problem.
There is no end to the Sunny-Shia war in syria & Iraq.The tyranny & oppression is only generating Refugees. Hungary has closed its Borders, & other EU countries are now reluctant to accept them. What will the Syrians do now?Where will they go? Even India the champion of Mandela & Palestian movement,has shut out its mind.Putin is supporting Bashar to the Hilt,Bhashar is in no mood to step-down.The French & the British are responsible for the present scenerio. West should own  up responsibility & intervene Militarily & TAKE OVER & bring back  peace & stability in the region.Refugees should be encouraged to go back to their homes , to  live a peaceful life.

Refugees : A man made problem
Refugees are not illegal people,they are men,women & children rendered homeless,searching for dignity ,food & shelter,which were taken away from them ,by BAD /Communal politics/Nature. We wage wars & refugees are created by it. The PMs statement of welcoming non- Muslim refugees from Pak & Bangladesh is in bad taste.This is in violation of of our secular constitution.
The Man mohan singh Govt.told the SC,that there is no historical evidence to establish the existence of Lord Ram & other characters of Ramayana. In an Affidavit filed before the said court the ASI rejected the claim of the existence of Ramsethu bridge.This undoubtedly a Complete rejection of Hindu Faith(Hindutva). As it is we have our own population problem. In fact we should use our Army,Airforce & Navy to capture territory & ship this extra population.There are many islands un-populated in the Indian ocean,including Andamans & Nicobar islands(sparsely populated) Even in the heartland,we have the Chambal valley,waiting to be reclaimed. The entire North East can accommodate few millions. It appears the entire NE is reserved for the Illegal Bangladeshi.migrants,to populate.
It is widely known,India actually welcomed the Bangla Refugees,to build up a case for military intervention. Farmers are dyeing in hundreds in Karnataka & neighbourhood states,why can't they Migrate to the Terai region of Nepal,occupy forest land & cultivate it.They can equally move into the Forest land of the western ghats occupy it forcefully & cultivate it for a living. Our first preference is to look after our population,not our Animals.The forest Land is Rich,Fertile & receives copious rainfall & can take all the Drought hit population of the urban Landless poor & Drought hit poor. We can leave the North Karnataka (drought hit region) as a waste land where jungle can grow. Clear the western Ghats & Rain fed areas,of all plantation & allow people to settle down with Govt assisted measures. The North wants to keep the South as their Backyard. If Forests are necessary Let New Delhi,Haryana & Punjab .earmark part of their state for Forests. 

Should Aurengzeb road in Delhi be re named? Why not some other road?
Roads do not change their axis,alignment or direction,they remain where they are only their names can be changed. Rahpath was called Kingsway & Janpath was called Queens way,cannaught place is  now,called Rajeev Gandhi chowk, Elgin road has become Lal Bahaddur Shastri Road,now The last  Great Mogal emporor Aurengzeb's road is called, APJ ABDUL KALAM ROAD(Another Muslim) Though the Moghuls were ,for all practical purposes foreigners yet Indians(Muslims,& Hindus) have accepted them as indigenous.Many Towns were renamed,Many important cities were renamed to suit local flavour,after independence(1947) There is another road called Mohamed Bin Tugalak road that needs to be changed too. Aurengzeb had many faults,but he was a True MUSLIM.He did a lot to spread Islam in this country(by force or by persuasion) The Muslims should protest,I do not know,Why they are keeping quiet ? Is this a precursor to rewrite History? trying to glorify Hindus,who are really not worthy of it. Right from Mohamed Gazni to Rober clive,people have been invading this country & ruling us.Even many Rajput kings served under Auregzeb as generals & helped him conquer many Hindu Rajas & indirectly spread Islam. Are Rajputs Hindus ? In none of our scriptures we come across the word RAJPUT : If Pakisthan had not come into being,The Muslims of this country had the legal/Moral right to stake a claim to form the Govt.& Hindus would have willingly accepted their RULE.

BJP May not co-operate in BBMP & this may slow down the growth of Bengaluru city
The coalition partners may face trouble in the council as they have only 98 members & BJP has 100 members.As per KMC act the BJP will have to  press for a vote,if they have any objection to any resolution.This means all the BJP members will have to be present & voting,The coalition already shown its 131 vote power. The Mayor is the supreme power to pass any resolution (The BJP cannot stop it)If any resolution is against the interest of the city,the commissioner,who is the head of the executive has the power to recommend to the Govt,not to agree to the resolution. what will happen.if JDS withdraws support ? & the independents resign ?( The BJP can purchase them) Anyway Mr BN. Manjunathareddy & HP Hemalatha will have a tough time in the council. We have to wait & watch the role of JDS & Independents.

Indo Pak WAR-1965 : The Real Story.
India & Pakisthan,both are celebrating the War of 1965. Pak calls it Defence of Pakisthan Day on September/06, claims it defeated the Indian Aggression, India claims victory over Pakisthan. The Historical view- From Mohammed Gazni to Robert Clive India has been defeated at the hands of Invaders. As FM Montegomery said that Indians know how to DIE for their country but not to WIN a WAR : It is a well known fact that Hindus (Also Slkhs) are tradationally opposed to Muslims(Islam) During the Muslim rule,there were no No communal riots. The divide & rule policy of Britishers(which the Indian Govt is successfully following) resulted in communal riots & eventually led to the Partition of the country in the year 1947.
"Hans ke liya hai Pakisthan,larke lenge hindusthan",was the slogan of Muslims, The Tribal people under the commander, Major General Akbar Khan invaded the J&K, ruled by a Hindu king ,Maharaja Hari Singh. The Indian Army pushed back the invading forces in november 1947, at  Shalatang near Srinagar. We advanced upto 60 miles(URI) when the Army was halted by Nehru,then the PM of India ( It was a real BAD decision) On January/01, 1949 a cease fire was ordered by UN. By then India had crossed to Leh, via the Zozila Pass.(That is why it is under our possession today).

The Chinese inflicted a humiliating DEFEAT in the year 1962.The army ran away from the Battle field under the commandership of Lt.Gen. BM Kaul (Another Kashmiri like Nehru, both share the same surname) Ayub Khan & ZA Bhutto,thought that the time is ripe for taking over J&K & even advance upto Delhi., Sheikh Abdullaha was dismissed and imprisoned by the Indian Govt in 1953. The people of Kashmir were demanding Plebiscite(Promised by Nehru in UN) Shastri,succeeded Nehru(as a stop gap arrangement,before Indhira could take over) He was weak & he ignored the claim of Army for modern weapons,the forces were only equipped with second world war vintage weapon systems,badly clothed & was of low MORALE. The time was right for Ayub to send thousands of infiltrators,initially ,followed by regular soldiers(Operation Gibraltor) Though the strength of Army & Airforce was increased after the glorious defeat in 1962 (Nehru died the day China attacked India),yet there was no assimilation.On sept/01/1965 ,No.11 corps,crossed the international border in Panjab & 15 div advanced in the Lahore sector.No 1 corps advanced from Sambha to Sialkot. The Pak Air Force was superior & they controlled the Air Space.Our troops did not get major Air support.for ground OPs.we had to withdraw our troops t Ichhagal canal ( Pak withdrew its forces from Akhnoor to defend Panjab) Our Air Craft was destroyed on ground at Pathankot,Avanthipur,& even in Kalaikunda. It appears there was much confusion in the higher levels of No 1 Corps,but at lower levels the Army fought very well,unfortunately they could not clear the Mine field near Sialkot. Our grand strategy was a Grand Flop.General Choudhry,justifed the withdrawal from Lahore,as he himself said,he did not want to fight street battles in Lahore.(like Germany in Stalingrad) Our forces had actually reached the outskirts of Lahore. Pakisthan retaliated with a counter offensive at Tarn Taran and their tanks started moving towards Beas. At Asal Utar,the much hyped Paton Tanks were mercilessly destroyed.Pak stopped its offensive. The WAR ended with a ceasefire after 22 days: Ayub & Bhutto got sacked and Shastri died in Tashkent: USSR brokered a Ceasefire agreement."Status Quo Ante "as on sept/01/1965 was restored. Haji Pir Pass, won at great risk,cost and effort had to be given back(This is the entry point for Pak Infiltrators today) Pak withdrew from the Chamb Jurian sector. Now Akhnoor was safe from Pak Threat.The 1947 war was a great blow to the concept of Racial superiority of Pakisthanis. They consider 1965 war is only a setback.The 1971 war was a complete ROUT. Now Pakisthan knows where it stands,they have resorted to ,what Bhutto called a "Thousand cuts" Cross Border Terrorism is their new Tactic & Strategy. They are building a nuclear arsenal & are blackmailing India with success. As some statesmen said in America,we should speak softly,but carry a long stick to go far in this world.

Bescom like other Escoms has claimed improved performance over the years.Karnataka is growing very fast,the demand for electricity is also growing exponentially. Many Govt depts,also use the electricity,they Pay whenever they can.(if at all they pay)The Govt.has to pay around 6200 crores of Rupees  as farmer's subsidy.. Delayed payments by consumers to Escoms, resulted in delayed payment to KPCL.This sum amounts to a whopping 12,000/- crores(the annual turnover is Rs-6500/=crores)The past CMs had committed to the Privatisation concept(as early as 1997) The govt. inability to collect the revenue due to political pressures,though many govts. agreed to this principle,nothing came out of it.In Delhi,this model has worked successfully.The Hukkeri Co-Op model is a good one to scale & subsidies can be credited to the Bank account of the beneficiaries DIRECTLY  instead of Escoms supplying power at cheaper rates.This way bills will be paid upfront & services will continue un interrupted,for all this we must have a strong regulatory mechanism.The Govt officers will not be ale to rise to the occasion.It must be handed over to the Professionals.Bangalore the city of Technology is going without light. Privatisation is the only solution.to this problem.

Syrian refugees seek asylum in Ummah,Say it Loud ,say it Clear,"Refugees are welcome here"

Thousands of refugees (Muslim) are fleeing from the Abode of Islam.They are seeking shelter in the land of infidels and Kafirs. Some European states are insisting on taking only Christians refugees,as they do not want Muslims . Images of the little boy Aylam drowned and washed ashore,the my lai(in Vietnam) napalmed baby Girl aflame has stirred the conscience of the whole world . The photographs shows men,women & children,  are well fed & well clothed( as compared to Bangla deshis)instead of moving towards Saudi Arabia & other Muslim countries,near by,they are taking a very risky route to the EU countries. They are fleeing from Darul Islam(Abode of Islam) to the land of Christians (Infidels)
Turkey--1.8 million, Lebanon--1.2 million,Jordan--800 000, the capacity to feed the refugees is totally over stretched . The hapless refugees are moving to seek safety & shelter in,Germany,Austria,Spain,Italy,UK New zealand Etc. Australia has blocked their entry.They do not want to go to their immediate neighbour Kuwait,Qatar, Beharin,oman & UAE .These petro dollar rich countries do not want these refugees as their Life Style gets affected. President Bashar is the man responsible for this human crisis. The welcome of the EU to the Syrian refugees may be similar to the Indira Gandhi govt's welcome of Bangladeshis. This was the excuse later for attacking Bangladesh & dis membering the Erstwhile Pakisthan . Once the refugee numbers becomes astronomical,the dictator Assad may be taken out of Syria. Refugees are welcomed with hot tea,biscuits,Bed for the exhausted,men,women &  the children.are offered candies & Toys.
Angela Merkel is a real  christian angel,who is ready take Half a million, over a period of Five years. Says there is no limit to political asylum seekers & Germany will not say NO to them.
Pope is ready to take TWO families.He is the head of a city state,& the Vetican should be able to take 1000 families,feed them, look after them & later convert them Christianity. The Poor & huddled mass of refugees are running away from the land where the prophet lived & where he received the word of GOD. Why are they heading towards christian states? it is b'coz of the idea of humanism is alive in Europe and they can have decent,good,thoughtful,honest,generous christians. They may even welcome conversion. The oil rich kings & Sheiks may not want the refugees,but the people of Iceland are willing to take them.
The next time you hear the word UMMAH, forget about the old meaning ,now for Muslims,it means a Global community of  the compassionate,Religion & Race no bar. 
What is India that is Bharat doing? We should at least take One Million of  Refugees,give them food & shelter & later ship them  to Kashmir valley to take over the properties left behind by the Pandits & non-Muslims.

Rs 8.300 crores allotted for OROP in Defence Budget : 2,20,000 crores is the pension Bill ( This includes DRDO & other Defence civilians, working in ordinance factories, civilians employed as class III & IV in defense establishments ,who do not wear uniforms and serve till 60 years of age,coolly & comfortably in peace stations( with their families),also enjoy all the service benefits like,canteen services, central school for their children & medical benefits etc.)
The UPA Govt in its  last years allocated Rs 500 crores.
The veterns & the Govt instead of negotiating started haggling over the Base year & the period for pension revision(The govt claims the pension bill is 54,000 crores,this is the pension of all those paid out of Defense estimates,NOT ALL OF THEM ARE UNIFORMED PERSONS CALLED COMBATANTS,( or VARDI People) Most of them are civilians.The actual pension bill is only 22,000 crores. Pay out due OROP is only 0.86 % Many retirees are employed in Para military forces & Police forcesEtc.
In many countries about 70% of the retires are employed in their para military & police forces,this is referred to as natural absorption. In our country states do not want them,b'coz the recruitment is a BIG INDUSTRY,where crores change hands(Corruption is Rampant)
The Third pay commission ( Under UPA Congress Govt) REDUCED defense pension from 70 % to 50 % of military pensioners & increased the pension of civilians from 30% to 50 %,in the year 1973. In no country the defense personnel pay & allowances and pensions are compared to the other services because of this X factor.
These military people Die today for your Tomorrow & their families are left to fend for themselves,among wolves: Even in peace they sweat,so that they may not bleed in war.
The IAS,IPS & IFS(other central services grudge the Defense services,for the extra they get on account of free Ration)
The ex-servicemen should immediately form on all India Political Party & fight elections & get Bargaining power Or should take up Arms once again & join hands with Maoists/Jihadists to achieve their goal.

Revamping of Nehru museum at New Delhi

The BJP govt has spent Rs 7.5 crores on Gandhi Smrithi & made it contemporary. Now they have turned their attention to Nehru Museum in Delhi. The Museum had been the favourite of the Congress Govt & has received large funding over a long period. It has stocked thousands of Books on Nehru & Gandhi : The govt has cast  its evil eyes on FTII & ICHR & look at its condition today. The collection of Books highly centred around Nehru & his immediate family.

There are hardly any books on his role in India's China war or his buddy's role (Krishna Menon,DM) in the said war.that brought Shame to this country. The Army ran away from the battle field.

The copper plate inscription (of 1977) also contains eulogisation of Nehru & his family.There is nothing about the legacy of Bhagat Singh nor are there any books on the Prince sanjay gandhi,his contribution during the Emergency,forced sterlisations,anti democratic activities, cleaning of Muslim Basties,in old delhi & near Jama Masjid,exercise of super constitutional  authority Etc Absence of Books on Gopala krishna gokhale(Mentor of Gandhi)& other freedom fighters.

The Library should have, ,Nehru's love letters to lady Mount Baten,his affairs with Padmajha Naidu & a Tantrik woman,who gave him an illegitimate son(suposed to have been studying in a convent in Bangalore). It is not that BJP is trying to deflate him or belittle his legacy,what was the role of Narasimharao & Man mohan singh in 1977?

Why Bharat Ratna was not given to Bhagat singh,Rajaguru,Subhash chandra Bose,Savarkar,Ghokale & other freedom fighters. No memorial for Narasimharao at Delhi,but there is a memorial for Sanjay Gandhi Had the congress Govt continued, in power I am sure Sanjay Gandhi would have been honoured with a Bharat Ratna. Even now it is not too late, Sonia should also get a Bharat Ratna for guiding the destinies of India that is Bharat. he voluntarily refused to become the PM of this country. God only knows what would have happened,had she been the PM.

Jazia Tax on Hindu Vaishnodevi piligrms : Gift of JP & PDP Govt in J&K :

The vaishnodevi temple trust is doing a yeoman service. Recently I and my family visited the Temple. Earlier in the year 1977 I had the Dharshan of Matha Vaishnodevi, I could not believe the changes the Trust has brought in. The Temple is in Udhampur ( Jammu region) & is a revenue earning area.unlike ladhak

The Earlier charges were Rs 2078 now it is increased to Rs 2340/=. The congress has called it JIZIA(A Tax levied by Aurengzeb on Hindus) The 12.5% service tax on commercial flights to Vaishnodevi & Amarnath is totally un justified. The BJP has agreed to it in the name of coalition Dharma.
Immediately after the floods,the state govt asked for a package of 44,000 crores of rupees. The centre has released only 3000 crores of rupees so far. The centre has money for Bihar & Mangolia(6000 crore package released for a country,whose existence is not known to 99% of the people of India) J & K is sinking following the deluge. I am sure if a plebisite is held even now,the kashmiris will opt for pakisthan.
Separate Jammu from Kashmir valley. The valley has always been a Drain on our resources. There is no point in spending even a rupee on the valley,because one fine day it will go to Pakisthan. We can handover Ladhak region to China as a good will gesture in exchange for Arunachal pradhesh & Have peace once for all..
India is no position to take back POK by force & Pakisthan will not give it BACK under any circumstance.

The 50th anniversary of the un-holy 1965 war has been sidelined by the Media,it has given more importance to the MURDER story of Sheena. There is no analysis of what really happened in the WAR?,who were the victorious? who actually Lost the war ?? etc.how did the Indian PM die in Tashkent ? All files in Home ministry & External affairs Ministry are in Lock & Key. One fine day the Govt will announce all the files have been eaten away ,either by rats Or Cockroaches.
The PMO's office is refusing to De-Classify them.& open up for public viewing. The principle of de-classification of important / controversial historical documents(Including thousands of FILES) lying in record rooms for historical research scholars/researchers and history lovers,raises larger issues. India,many consider as a Banana Republic,in so far as it relates  Historical research. The Henderson Brooks( An Anglo Indian)  Report on the Indian Army's ROUT in India's China War is a Top-Secret document. Though there is a BIG CRY for its de-classification,the Govt is keeping LID on it & sitting pretty over it: The society is entitled to learn from its past mistakes & take suitable/remedial action,with the wisdom of HINDSIGHT.This report has already been disclosed in FULL by Maxwell. Indian role in the Tibet is another historical fact that has been suppressed by the Govt. We can read the Chinese version,the western version but not the Indian Version. Rich history of Mizoram
The Bombing of Aizwal in 1966,by the Indian Armed forces opened the eyes of Indians,who were virtually ignorant of Mizoram & its History.The Air Force bombed its own people,the Army fought & killed its own people. The Mizo people & the famed Mizo resilience carried them through. It made them ignore the Past,bitter memories Injustices & vie for peace(1986) This part of India was in turmoil for almost 20 years,& we did not now anything about it.The Mizo uprising was totally suppressed with brutal force. The Mizo uprising, The Assam assembly debates on the Mizo movement,1966-1971by JV Hluma and Rini Tochhawng,gives a defining account of the contemporary History of the Mizoram.& their struggle.
The nearest Railway head is Silchar of Cachar district of Assam & the nearest airport is Khumbhigram. Aizwal is very close to Myanmar border & the border is extremely porus & one can easily go to Champai on the other side of Border.Lot of imported(genuine) goods are sold very cheap there. Many of our Indian soldiers visit this place to buy cheap goods. It is a permissive society & succession is metrilinear. Many of our Airmen, particularly from Kerala(Christians) get married to their (Newly converted christian girls) Girls,live with them ,have children & leave behind,when they are posted out. Lot of christian missionary work,has helped the Mizos,& Money is pumped into their pockets.in abundance. It is very normal to see roadside workers(Labourers),wearing,branded Levy Costly  Jeans Trousers & wearing costly BATA shoes. I was told that the Bata Shoe shop in Aijwal has the largest Sale in India. Most of the soldiers who fought for Mizo groups are ex-Indian Army Soldiers of Mizo origin

Ayub Khan's mis-adventure.
The whole world saw the rout of the Indian Army in 1962. The Army virtually ran away from the Battle Field. FM Ayub Khan ,who was a member of the pre-partition Indian  Army,saw a great oppertunity & launched an all out  second WAR against  INDIA. There were some iitial failures in Ran of Kutch & J & K. Large Tank battles were fought for the first time(since IInd world war) Pakisthan lost 3800 people.400,tanks.40 aircraft were shot down . The Indian Army captured Haji Pir Pass( At a great scrifice) & reached Lahore & was responsible for creating Paton Nagar,a grave yard of almost 100 destroyed Tanks.Pakisthan claimed that they were the victims of Aggression by India. Field Marshal Ayub Khan,(son of Risaldar Major Mir Dad Khan,of  Hodson Horse) employed Paton tanks,against India, inspite of CLEAR assurances given to Americans,that Aided weapons will not be used against India.The centurion(second world war vintage) tanks fought against the modern Paton Tanks in fierce battles at Khem Karan sector.
Lal bahadur Shastri,who went to Tashkent ceded Haji Pir Pass to Pakisthan, & shortly afterwards died in mysterious circumstances,. The congress Govt never insisted on a full scale investigation. Even today it has remained a mystery. Many people feel he was poisoned..

The OROP is causing headache to the Modi Goivt In INDIA ie Bharat

The attractively titled & packaged Brand OROP is hitting the right buttons : It is easy,simple & comprehensive & is equitable. Narenadra modi fell for it & used it extensively during election campaign.The UPA-2 belatedly recognised the importance of it & allotted a mere 500 crores: The Babu secretaries & the Generals & their equivalents in Air Force & Navy draw a fixed pay(Top) at the time of retirement: The fifth pay commission (1996)took care to see that all future increases are reflected in the FUTURE revisions. They will get FIFTY PERCENT OF the last pay drawn.

The armed forces were given an edge over the civilian babus on account of the special nature of their service conditions/physical fitness requirements /hard tenure service in field areas/life in snow clad glaciers/separated families etc.etc. This logic is still valid even today: Till the year 1973,the pay of defense personnel was reviewed separately . The officers did not want the other ranks to get better pay and allowances; Due to hard times the Govt stagnated the pay during 1970 & the defence pensioners suffered very badly(third pay commission-1973) The civil pension & military pension ware made same at 50 %( Reduction from 70% to 50% for defence pensioners & increase of 20 % for civil pensioners: from 30% to 50%)

Under the 4th pay commission, (1986)real Basic Pay got doubled but adjustment for inflation was only partial: The fifth pay commission(1996) the pay was doubled and 100 % cover was given for inflation.The 6th pay commission(2006)tripled real pay,but because of the pension adjustment lagged behind salary revision ; with every pay revision ,pensioners fall further behind. The OROP agitation was taken up by the forces only because,the public sympathised with their cause:

The sharp pyramidical structure,limits the scope for promotions. The pay is linked to the Rank & Position held,where as it is not so in the case of civilians. The edge,which forces enjoyed,becomes only notional after first 16 years(of Civilians) from then on the civilians LEAD. Jawans retire much earlier ,b’coz of strict health requirements in the services Soldiers retire at the age of 35 and 60 % of officers retire at the age of 54 : The civilians keep on earning promotions & pay hikes till they reach 60 years.

Short service span & fewer promotions make a Jawan get 40% less salary than a civilian,who starts his career at the same time, The pension pay out should be 75%,as it was ,till the 3rd pay commission.

Theoritically the OROP is FLAWED b’coz it is not consistent with principle of efficiency & violates the principle of contract: Pension is a future payment,for pas & capacity of the country to pay: Pension is like a fixed annuity(indexed to inflation) Increasing in  the base pension, amount  as pay increases ,envisage in orop is not defensible.

The govt should restore pre 1973 pay - out  0f 75% only for pre 1973  and 1995 retirees(when pension was not 100 % inflation indexed)

Soldiers die for their country for the sake of a memorial that may be built after their death & not for PENSION or Pay
Most Army men leave their force by the age of 35 years of age(if they are alive) and take up agriculture or some other job where as police,para military service & railway personnel serve up to 60 years of age & retire gracefully. In all they get around 25 more increments & enjoy the benefit of THREE pay commissions during service: They get 8 crores more than an Army/airforce/nany jawan,till they attain the age of 70 years:;
The agitation to one rank one pay ,basically means ,all ex-servicemen basically get the SAME PENSION,according to rank & tenure of  service : every year 60,000 personnel retire,that means 5,000 every month : Most of the retirees have their kith & kin in services & even if the retired personnel don't give out a call for serving personnel to agitate for obvious reasons, yet every one knows,what their fate will be,when they retire : The Naval Mutiny during the British Rule broke the back of Britain : The recent Assam Rifles mutiny is still fresh in mind.
The govt has recently announced a large package to Bihar(1.25 lakh crores) the OROP scheme li likely to cost only Rs 8,500 crores & the Govt is dragging its feet. The Jawans owing to the special nature of the duties,have less life expectancy & the pension Bill go down very steeply:
It is a shame that people have to sit for 60 days at Jantar Mantar without the Media Attention. Rahul Gandhi at least brought this to the Nations attention & today it is the Talking Point on all media channels.The Govt instead of Talks with Pakisthan & wasting crores of rupees on Biriyani & Hospitality should concentrate on this long out-standing issue,because talks or no talks Kashmir one FINE  day will go to Pakisthan & the whole world is sympathetic to this issue ( Even in India if a REFERENDUM is held most people will vote for  handing over this territory to Pakisthan) & even in India lot of people(Including Defence personnel) want Kashmir should be handed over to Pakisthan & live in Peace The defense of Siachin (godforsaken barren ice glacier) costs rs 2000 crores per year) The defense of J & K is an un bearable burden on the country : Pakisthan is able bear the huge expenditure,because of their highly successful foreign policy(Their Military Hardware,& military/civil foreign Aid,comes FREE) They have a very good neighbour CHINA,that can help them,financially,politically & Militarily : The govt should restore the 75% level (Pre 1973 position) to those who Retired during the   period 1973-1995.(when pension was not 100 % inflation indexed) This will soothe the anger of FAUJIS. This will not create an untoward precedent for civilians:
The belated letter(to the President) of service chiefs,will not cut any ice with the Govt,b'coz he will simply forward the letter to the Govt & forget about it(The president has no powers & as C-In-C,he can only get free medical treatment from Military hospitals for self & family,& receive a salute on Republic Day) Even the speech he reads out on independence day & republic day must have prior approval of the Govt of the day
It is the service chiefs who FAILED the FAUJIS Only General Thimmaiah had guts to RESIGN(But he too withdrew it for reasons best known to himself & GOD).GOD SAVE THE JAWANS OF THIS COUNTRY

Cloud seeding in Karnataka " Project Varuna" successfully carried out in 2003:

Agricultural experts in North Karnataka are a worried lot. Lack of infra structure & Research in this field is causing much resentment.Doppler Weather radar is a must for cloud seeding & Rain gauge centers has to be established at Taluck level : In order to succeed the clouds have to be sprayed with particles like sodium chloride and silver iodide over a very  wide area.Two Wx Radars were established at Bangaluru & Gadg ( With the help of an American Agency) to identify the size & moisture content of the clouds(Provided clouds were there) Several recommendations made by experts are only on paper.The drought conditions in the North Karnataka area persists year after year.
The Andhra govt has been conducting cloud seeding operations regularly : Un fortunately NK region is considered a Rain shadow region(scanty rainfall,even though there is a good cloud formation) In 2008 ,agricultural science  foundation in association with Agni Aviation consultants had taken up cloud seeding operation with partial success. Several villages in the area received Rains(Whether Natural or cloud seeded)
The Govt may go in ,for this scheme,as there is lot of money is likely to be invested. Like clean Ganga Water scheme,there is very good scope for siphoning of money,& one need not show any results. If it fails they can blame it on Wx gods & bad luck of Farmers( The people who inhabit these ares are sinners & it is gods way punishing them) The politicians ,technocrats,scientists & bureaucrats can mint money in this scheme: If it rains fine.if it does not rain Fine

1580 candidates will try their luck in BBMP elections
Three major parties are fielding as many as 1580 candidates & 429 independent candidates are trying their luck in the forth coming elections. If they get elected they will be the luckkyest as they can mint money in the corporation : BBMP has 198 wards. The AIADMK has fielded 7 candidates,12 members from AIMIM are contesting BBMP polls ( This is bound to affect the congress votes,as it is targetting Muslim votes) BJP has already registered a victory in Hongasandra ward, JDS is contesting in 187 wards,bsp-34 and cpi-29.
If the congress fails, then BBMP will be trifurcated and may be new elections are held after de-limitation.

The lokayuktha special court,on friday dismissed all the Bail petitions of four accused personnel in the corruption case & extended their Judicial custody till 27th August:
Syez Riyaz,Ashok Kumar,MB.Srinivasa gowda & Shankare gowda are expected to move the High court against the court order.
The Prosecution rightly opposed the Bail plea on the ground  that the offences were serious,they were involved in multiple cases & the investigation was in progress
The BBMP officials were the role model for Bhaskar. The rampant corruption in BBMP,where the contractors BILLS were paid more than THREE to FOUR times for each project,the officials were getting a GOOD share for each Bill sanctiond.
