Pakisthan's polemical origins
It was an exceedingly vague idea in both elite & popular consciousness.It was an idea opposed by the Ulema of Deoband:It was merely a bargaining chip,but it turned out to be True due to an accident of history: During the  negotiations of British,Congress & Muslim league,the south Asian absent mindedness,the IDEA of a separate nation was thrown up.

1. The united provinces of Agra & Audh (UP),the heart of muslim india,was the the birth place of muslim separatism. The up Muslims constituted only 20% of the province's population,they ardently supported the Jinnah's two nation theory ,but the Pakisthan came into being in the west & the eastern part of this country : The Muslim population was deeply aware of this isolation,becoming a minority in the midst of a majority Hindu population. The Muslims brought in the logic of SACRIFICE ie. some Muslim opt for subjugation for the benefit of other Muslims who can breeth freely in a free Muslim country: They were willing to undergo every suffering & sacrifice for the emancipation & liberation of their bretheren,in areas of Muslim majority areas.They were prepared to be martyrs Jinnaha in his speech said he was prepared to perform the last ceremony of martyrdom of two crore Muslims for the liberation of seven crore Muslims The sacrifice logic & the hostage theory was the hidden idea of a Global Islamic caliphate: The highly influential Ulemas from Deoband, Maulana ashraf ali thanavi and shabbir ahamed usmani switched to the Muslim league armed with a theology for fusing Islam with state power. : Maulana Thanavi once had a dream ,where the prophet and his companions saw Jinnah sitting next to to the prophet.He treated him with kindness & love :Jinnah wanted to create a secular democratic Pakisthan,he actually wanted to create another Madina,the birth of an Islamic caliphate,This idea received popular support from the majority of Indian muslims & few Hindu leaders
