Pm Modi during his visit to Bangladesh praised Vajpayee & accepted an Award on his behalf,but did not refer to Mrs Gandhi,who was responsible for the liberation of Bangladesh : There has been a controversy raging in this regard. Congress has raised an objection.

We should not forget though the WAR was WON by a long Margin,we lost peace by a equally long Margin : We had 93 thousand POW  in our custody & fed them to their heart's content,we frittered away that major advantage(Trump card) by that bogus SIMLA agreement; Bhutto had the better of Mrs Gandhi & got away with whatever he wanted : It has been reported that  till the last half an hour Mrs Gandhi did not agree to the release of the pow's  and resisted his request& during the last half an hour ,when they were ,one on one dialogue(When no advisors were present) she suddenly made up her mind & agreed  to release pow's,without any quid pro quo(ie. assurance of a permanent  solution to the long outstanding LAC issue : It should have been made permanent : Today neither Pakisthan respects it nor India can stick to it,Kashmir is no more a Bi-lateral issue & has become an international issue) The mystery is "what made Mrs Indira Gandhi agree to the  release of  the POW, honourably? What transpired between them" Pakistan will not stop making a thousand cuts & make India Bleed : In their Military academy's even today the passing out cadets take a pledge to avenge the defeat of their Army///
